My focus is on excellent temperament and champion bloodlines. ANNOUNCING  GRACIE'S  LAST  LITTER!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I will do one more repeat breeding of DreamMeyer's Graceful Hope MH (Gracie) to FC AFC Cuda's Blue Ryder MH (Ryder) this spring/summer '09. This will be Gracie's LAST litter and then she will be retired.
All of my '07 Gracie/Ryder pups are excelling in their training for Hunt Tests. I hope to have Stella's Master Hunter title sometime in the fall of '09. I ran Stella in one Senior Hunt test just to see her progress. She was the youngest dog to pass the test, at just 17 months old. Stella passed it even though everything that could go wrong with the test did go wrong. I heard the judges say 'Now that is a real working dog!'   Both Gracie and Stella have tested clear for EIC (exercise induced collapse) and have re passed their CERF.
Both Gracie & Ryder are clear for Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM)
Ryder was a dynamic, handsome and statuesque 85 pound chocolate Labrador Retriever who had reached the pinnacle of success for Labradors of all colors in both the field trial and hunt test worlds. Ryder is the first and only Chocolate Labrador to win a double header and is the first and only Chocolate Labrador National Amateur Finalist. His versatility was exemplified by his activities in the summer of 2003. In late June, he was a Finalist in the 2003 National Amateur Retriever Club Championship Stake (the first and only Chocolate Labrador). A week later he was the test dog for the ESPN Great Outdoor Games Retriever Series. The next weekend he completed his sixth straight Master Hunter qualification and earned the Master Hunter title. The following week Ryder won the Open All Age stake at the Sacramento Valley Retriever Club's field trial and his Field Championship title.
Ryder is the second Chocolate Labrador in history to earn these three AKC titles ~ the first being his sire FC AFC CFC CAFC Barracuda Blue MH. You can read more about Ryder's accomplishments by going to www.silvercreekkennels.com Ryder represents a remarkable black and chocolate gene pool. Ryder's owner and I share the same goal of producing quality chocolates with proven lines and a calm loving nature. Combining Ryder with Gracie's talent, effervescent spirit and her undying love and devotion have produced chocolates that prove to be amazing hunting partners and devoted companions as well.
From the Gracie/Ryder litter, '07 one of the females went to Austria, her name is 'Summer'. You can check out some amazing photos of her training sessions by going to their web site http://www.happytears.at/index.htm ~~ One of the males 'Storm' has his JH title, his progress can be seen at www.redcedarlabradors.com ~~ Storm is now in training with Lyle Steinman www.castilecreekkennels.com and Lyle is very impressed with Storm. Lyle has discussed entering Storm in the Super Retriever Series!
The price for these LAST Gracie/Ryder pups will be $2,500 for females & $2,000 for males. I am currently taking deposits of $500.
I kept 'Stella' who will return to Jack Morris of Stellar Retrievers to finish her training and get her MH title. Stella also is doing exceedingly well. 'She Loves to learn, learns very quickly, and has a fantastic attitude'. She will skip her Junior and Senior Hunter titles and go forward to get her Master Hunter Title.
 The deposits are 100% refundable if there are no pups available from the upcoming litters.
I will notify persons with a deposit within 72 hours of birth of the status, health, and availability of the pups.
You can find out more information about CNM online at: wwwlabradorcnm.com
I have many references you can read to help you with your decision to own one of my puppies. My trainers would also be happy to speak to you about 'Gracie' - my 2002 Kitty / Elwood pup Both of them say: 'Gracie is the most incredible chocolate female I have ever seen!' Gracie earned her Junior Hunter title at 15 months of age and had 4 Master Hunter passes by the time she was 26 months old Gracie earned her Master Hunter Title just two weeks after going back into training once her first litter of pups were to their new homes! Gracie then proceeded to Qualify and ran in the Master Nationals in Oct. '05 in Texas.
All pups will have their dew claws removed, their first shots, and will have been wormed. They will be Vet checked before delivery and come with a written guarantee . If you want to learn more, please see my Helpful hints and FAQ pages. I have experience in shipping pups, so please let me know at the time of deposit if you need this service.
This is my passion. I am very proud of my pups!
Thank you for visiting my site.
Sincerely,
Nancy Meyer
