Gracie/Ryder Litter
December 2009

Updates
These pups all got fabulous new homes! This boy, now named "Blue" went to Georgia to hunt, earn Hunt Test titles and eventually be a stud.
We'll watch his progress at Big Creek Labs. In these photos he is 9 weeks old and retrieving a live bird to hand without ruffling a feather.

This is the last Gracie/Ryder pup available EVER! He is 10 weeks old and has had his second set of shots. He is a very well rounded pup, adventurous yet very responsive to people.

Time flies! And, so does this little band of puppies. At 5 weeks the pups get "Jailbreak" sessions, 3 or 4 times a day, in the kitchen with lots of toys & rawhide chews. They play REALLY HARD for 20 minutes and then all pile back up to RECHARGE!

Gracie had her pups naturally, this morning, after being in labor since 9:30 pm last night. For a while I thought we were headed for another C section, I was warming up the car... all set to go to the Vets and she started pushing in earnest. The first pup was born just before 7 am. She had 7 pups > 5 Boys & the 2 girls are SOLD.

I have males available. They are all very strong and healthy. 7 is a great number. They will all florish with Gracie's lavish attention. Today is my birthday and this was my best Birthday Gift ever.

I highly recommend these three books to everyone who buys my pups, or loves labs.
1) "Just Labs" by Steve Smith & Dale C. Spartas
2) "101 uses for a lab" by Dale C.Spartas
3)"Retriever Puppy Training : The Right Start for Hunting"
by Clarice Rutherford and Cherylon Loveland
